Flowing data runs a new “Visualize This” contest. This time the main question is about where the public gets its news.
I’ve looked a the data in absolute values and in an price-index-like way (taking 2001 as a base year).
These two ways at looking at the data hint that:
- Radio has the most bumpy road
- Radio is the main medium to profit from election years
- In 2010, the Internet is at 3times its initial size
- All other mediums remain more or less the same or slip a little bit (at least in comparison to the Internet)
